I've felt it. I'm sure you have too at some point in your life. Do you know the difference between lonely and alone? Alone is a physical state. Lonely is a mental state. Lonely equates to a state of mind that is the result of an inadequate relationship with God and people. Today I'll talk about alone. I'll get to lonely later. Sometimes God gets us alone because we need to grow. We need to change and become the person He needs us to become.
He takes away the distractions and puts us in a place where we have Him and only Him. Let’s call this the cocoon stage. The cocoon stage isn't a bad thing, quite the contrary! It's important and critical for our growth! The caterpillar doesn't all of the sudden change. It's a process. God wants the best for your life. The process may take a while or be painful. But don't get discouraged! You will survive this! God knows our breaking point. He knows how much we can take! He will never make us go through more than we can handle. There were times that I cried out saying, “God!! It's too much!” But, I came to discover that through Him, I can take on anything! When this stage is over, you will come out stronger and ready to be who God wants you to be. Hang in there. This is temporary. It’s a season. A season of growth. Maybe this is not something you're not going through right now, but everyone at some point, in goes through this. Someone you know might be, and may not know how to deal with it all. But, you can help them through it! Until next week, God speed. (If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me) Remember... If you want something to change, then YOU have to change. You can't expect something new from old ways.
