He always says he's gonna do something, go somewhere, somehow change. But he never does. He always complains about his “stuckness”, about how he wants things to change. But he never does. He's afraid of getting out of his comfort zone and actually doing something. I've talked to him this dozens of times, but it doesn't help. He's comfortable. Greatness never came from comfort zones. What if Esther hadn't decided that she didn't want to leave her life behind? What if David had not gotten the courage to fight Goliath? Everyone that achieves something, in some way had to get out of their comfort zone and go for it! Don't be afraid to fail because failure can be part of it, maybe even the part that helps you learn and develop new and wonderful things. Jane Austen and Laura Ingalls Wilder are two of my favorite authors. Both of them weren't published the first time, they were rejected. But that didn't stop them, they kept on keeping on. Don't be afraid to step out of that comfort zone more than once. Once isn't enough. Feel free to comment if you have anything to ask or add. Until next week! Images via Geralt of Pixabay. Great article and a reminder, change can only take place when you are willing to step out of your own personal comfort zone.
